LO2 P3 Target Audience

After completing my survey I came to the following conclusions:

Gender

The film I chose was more male related because the film is about cage fighting which women aren’t really in to and the male viewers are as the audience is more male when watching cage fighting.

Age

The conclusion to my survey is that the age group that the film will be reaching is 11-18. This is because the film is about Kevin James raising money for his school, so this is telling us that the audience should be teenagers or students still in education. The film is also a comedy which features slap stick comedy which is more popular with a younger audience.

Lifestyle

What attracts people to see Here Comes the Boom is people who like sport and boxing will enjoy the film as it relates to them. The fights and the sport in the film will attract people that are interested in sport.

Spending Power

Most children aged 11-18 are likely to spend their money on leisure activates, the reason for this is that they do not receive any income as they do not need to spend their money on clothes and own food as their parents buy it for them. Therefore this age group have got the money to go to the cinema a lot of the time.
